The Active Listening workshop aims to improve sensitivity to music and peers. The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to learn to improvise while following the music; on the other, to activate the leader's listening skills and, at the same time, the follower's ability to take initiative, without having to switch roles during the dance. Without engaging in co-leadership, we will create a dance that resembles a conversation more than a monologue.
Folqué? is a cultural association based in Madrid, Spain, that promotes Bal Folk through workshops, dances, and festivals, a lively style of music and dance that constantly evolves, blending tradition with innovation.
