Balkan Dances Workshop - Mirjam Dekker

Mirjam Dekker was born in the Netherlands but has lived in Portugal since 1995. She has a background in Jazz Dance, Contemporary Dance, and Traditional World Dances.
A professional dance teacher, she has led workshops at numerous festivals, courses, and workshops throughout Europe for over fifteen years, not only for adults but also for children.

In traditional dance, she specializes in Eastern European and Balkan dances, with their richness in steps, styles, and moods.

At this festival, in addition to the World Dance Workshop for Families, she will also have the special mission of teaching us some of the Balkan dances that will be performed at the Malotira Ball!
